The three-button and six-button programmable serial controls are an innovative lightbar control module designed specifically for use with Federal Signal’s serial communication lightbar platforms such as: Legend, Raydian S2 and Arjent S2.
Model 660300 features three illuminated push-button modes for basic light control.
Model 660000 features six illuminated push-buttons and four position slide switch.
Both controllers can be used as an alternate to the standard interface module and with a separate switch control can operate all of Federal Signal serial lightbars.
When the serial controllers are used in conjunction with Federal Signal’s Relay Module (Model 660100), both controllers provide users with the ability to control any of the serial lightbars Federal Signal offers with any 12-volt switched lighting or equipment device allowing users to customize complete warning packages.
Both controller models incorporate power programming for a quick and easy flash pattern and keypad configuration selection. Model 660300 includes up to nine pre-programmed keypad configurations.
Model 660000 includes eighteen pre-programmed keypad configurations giving the user flexibility in choosing light and equipment control when paired with Federal Signal’s Relay Module option.
Each keypad configuration contains between one and three flashing modes, each producing one of twelve distinct flash patterns easily changeable from the keypad. Enhanced functionality lets the user take advantage of all the lightbar has to offer, including built-in directional signals. Additional lightbar functions include: front or rear cutoff, takedown or alley lights, work lights, and low power mode (light applications only; siren tones not included).
The three-button and six-button serial controllers have been designed with an optional lockout feature.
Once the desired keypad configuration and flash patterns have been selected, a permanent lockout feature can be enabled to place a “lock” on the power programming feature (once “locked”, units must be sent back to Federal Signal to be “unlocked”).
